Catalina “Cathie” Maldonado born October 13, 1938 in Fontana, California to the late Jesus and Concha Payan. She was devoted to the Adoration of Divine Mercy at St. Michaels Catholic Church where she was a long time parishioner. She loved to travel, go on camping trips and play Bingo. Mrs. Maldonado celebrated 53 years of marriage this year.
She is survived by her loving husband Joseph T. Maldonado and her children: Liz Carteret (Chuck), Rose Marie Swanson (Dwight), Mark Maldonado (Joanne), Michelle Maldonado of Stockton, Michael Maldonado (Cindy) of Escalon, Gabriel Maldonado (Leslie) of Lodi and Joseph Maldonado of Idaho; siblings: John Payan, Linda Altamirano (Al), Eleanor Espino of Riverside, Ralph Payan (Vicky) of North Carolina, Daniel Payan (Laurie) of Lancaster, Mike Payan of Turlock, Frank Payan (Sharon) of Stockton and Maggie Ribota (Val) of Tracy. Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.
