ARNEL NOBLE SANTOS April 12, 1955 - November 1, 2009 This past Sunday, November 1, 2009, Arnel Noble Santos unexpectedly passed away with his loving wife, "Jean" Ma Evangeline Songco Lim by his side in Reno, Nevada. Arnel is survived by his loving wife Jean; loving father of Arjeanel; beloved son of Julita and the late Arturo Santos; devoted brother of Anthony (Esperanza), Junior, Alice, Annie (Alfredo) Espidol and Arlene (Alfredo) Lopez; Endearing uncle of Gemelyn, Jay-Ann, Fleurdeliz, Arnieliz Juliette, Allyzon Krystle, Stephen Sean, Aristotle Vonn, Archimedes, Karen, Achiles, Gabriel, Andrew, Alfred, Arjov, Aldrei, A.J., Jan-Jan, and Auntie Marietta and Family; also survived by many loving family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. He was a thoughtful, caring and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His sense of humor made us all laugh. He attended Far Eastern University and graduated with Bachelor of Science in Botany in 1977. He worked 13 years for Decorative Plant before he moved on to work 4 more years at Plant Escape, as a Horticulturist. He was a fan of sports and was an avid basketball player. An active member of PFBL and considered as the "Adopted Father of the Eagles Team". Arnel was a true sportsman and loved going to the gym to exercise. He loved basketball and especially guiding and training his son Arjeanel to follow one of his true loves of Basketball, during this time they built a very strong bond as father and son. A word from his only Son, Arjeanel: My Dad was a very hard-working man, a loving and caring husband, a Dad who's a Best Friend, a responsible Son, a supportive sibling, a helpful and cheerful friend, and a very unique person overall. No matter how tired he was, no matter what time it was, he would never say "NO" if you ask him for a favor. He was a very strong-willed person, for he would never ever show his pain or anguish to anyone around him, so that people would not worry about him. Dad loved going to the gym and just watch me play basketball every Sunday with the rest of the Eagles family. His life revolves around his family. He is one of a kind, and we will always love him. He may not be here, but we know that he is watching us from above with the Lord. We will surely miss you a lot. Friends and relatives may join the family in celebrating his life on Thursday or Friday from 4 to 9:00 p.m. and are cordially invited to attend the Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Tiffany Chapel of Cypress Lawn Funeral Home, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Church of the Epiphany, 600 Vienna St, San Francisco. Interment will follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma.
